Allie "Al" Reuben
(1892 - 1975)

Real Estate Broker

As President of Al E. Reuben Co., a real estate brokerage and property management business, Reuben was involved in some of the largest property transactions in the area, including the sale of Swayne Field ballpark and acquiring land for Toledo Express Airport.

He owned Hasty House Farm in Ottawa Hills. He and his wife, Billie,  raised thoroughbred racehorses on their 70-acre farm.  In 1954, their horse, Hasty Road, won the Preakness after finishing second in that year's Kentucky Derby.

For more on Reuben, here's a piece from the Toledo History Box.
