Anthony A. Paryski

(1865-1935)

Polish-American Publisher

Polish-American who operated the worlds largest Polish language printing and publishing house at his plant at 1140-1152 Nebraska Ave.  He published religious, educational, juvenile books, and novels. 

His weekly Polish language newspaper, Ameryka-Echo, had a national circulation of 42,000.  He was known as Toledo's "Dean of All Polish Newspaper Publishers."  With his wife, Irene, they sponsored a Polish educational center where the Polish language, culture, art, and history were taught to American Poles.
