A nephew of Sheldon, Charles Reynolds was with the Toledo Savings Bank & Trust Co. and Second National Bank when they merged to become Toledo Trust Co. He was a director of the Toledo Scale Co.
​
He built and his family was the first to occupy the landmark 1886, Reynolds-Secor house, at 2035 Collingwood Blvd.
