Glover was a nationally recognized sculptor who was described as a "people artist". In his youth, he received art training at the Toledo Museum of Art. He received his masters degree at The Cranbrook Academy of Art.  

 

He taught art at Woodward HS and later at Scott HS.  

 

WGTE-TV produced, "The Art of Giving", in tribute to his talent and work.
