Cook played for the St. Louis Browns in 1915. He served in the U.S. Army in both WWI and II. After baseball he was a mechanical engineer for several firms, including Willys Corporation, before becoming a partner in Riley and Cook Paving Contractors, where he worked for 10 years, retiring in 1958.
